FAQ

Common questions

Does WK run on macOS, Linux or Windows on ARM?

No. WK runs only on 64-bit Windows 10 and 11, on Intel or AMD processors. macOS, Linux, Windows on ARM and 32-bit Windows are not supported, not even through emulation.

Windows says "Windows protected your PC".

That's SmartScreen, which warns about apps it hasn't seen many times yet. If you downloaded WK from this site, choose More info, then Run anyway.

My antivirus removed or blocked WK.

Some antivirus programs flag WK by mistake because of the kind of software it is. If the file came from this site, restore it from quarantine and add an exception for the WK folder. Never do this for a copy from anywhere else.

WK doesn't open, or opens to an empty window.

Install the three required runtimes above: the Visual C++ Redistributable (x64), the WebView2 Runtime and .NET Framework 4.8.1. Then open WK again.

How do I set the display scale to 100%?

Open Settings › System › Display and set Scale to 100%. On Windows 10 the option is called "Change the size of text, apps, and other items". If Windows asks, sign out and back in. WK is not supported at any other scale, 125% included.

My screen isn't 1920 × 1080.

WK is certified at 1920 × 1080 with the display scale at 100%. Other resolutions may work, but they aren't certified and may behave unexpectedly. If something doesn't look right, contact us and tell us your resolution.

Does WK work on every server?

WK is built for servers that use the Real Game Map. On servers with a custom map, some features, mainly in the Cavebot, may behave unexpectedly. Servers that block screen capture need OBS Studio, and servers that block OBS are not supported.

Do I need OBS Studio on every server?

No. OBS is only needed on servers that don't allow regular screen capture. Everywhere else, WK works without it. You'll know during setup: if your server needs OBS, install it and WK configures it for you.

Does WK work on servers that block OBS?

No. If a server blocks OBS from capturing its client, as some do to prevent streaming, WK is not supported there. Not sure about yours? The free 3‑day trial lets you find out before you buy a plan.

Can I use WK on more than one computer?

On one computer at a time. Sign in on another one and WK moves there; the computer before it stops.
